Open to everyone! Take the first steps to becoming a fire dancer. This class is a contemporary interpretation of an ancient Polynesian tradition, poi balls. The class will cover the rocking motion of a poi, otherwise known as pendulums. We will first practice the pendulum motion, and then learn to control this motion at various points in space. From there, we will introduce combination patterns of circles and pendulums to integrate into your flow.

Class time devoted to lecture: 5-10 minutes
